About

The High Voltage Anthology is a collection of written and visual work related to or inspired by the theme "high voltage". This anthology is an ode to and an exploration of electricity, energy, motion, and all the neon sparks found in life.

 

The anthology features work by Adelynn Wijaya, Adrian Dallas Frandle, Adrienne Crezo, Arden Hunter, Beth Mulcahy, Bonnie Meekums, Camille Lewis, Damien Posterino, K.C. Carmine, Katy Naylor, Laura Dobson, Lauren Theresa, Matt McGuirk, Molly Greer, Nicks Walker, ongoing vision, Rachael Crosbie (who is algo co-editor), Rev. Joe Haward, and Tanya Akrofi.

the creator

Arden Hunter is an ND aroace agender writer, artist and performer. They have words, audio and art hosted and upcoming with Full House Literary Magazine, Fifth Wheel Press and Kissing Dynamite among other places. They have two books of experimental visual poetry coming out later this year, 'Drifting Bottles' through Gutslut Press and 'Stop Fidgeting' through Perth Underground Press. the editors

Rachael Crosbie (@rachaelapoet on Twitter and Instagram) is the editor-in-chief of the winnow, a poetry editor for Dollar Store Magazine, and a poetry reader for Persephone’s Daughters. They have four poetry chapbooks: swerve, MIXTAPESself-portrait as poems about bad poetry, and Trick Mirror or Your Computer Screen. Their fifth poetry chapbook, Peanut [the cat] auditions as Courage [...from Courage the Cowardly Dog], will be published July 2022. Rachael has three cats: Peanut, Cuties, and Skitty.

 

Charlie D’Aniello Trigueros (he/they) is a queer and trans Costa Rican-Dominican author, editor, and self-proclaimed malcontent. He is the editor-in-chief of warning lines literary and author of THE ONE & THE OTHER (2021), BETWEEN DEATH & FLIGHT (2022), PLACES (coming spring 2022, Gutslut Press), and more. Among his hobbies are reading, arguing, and being an utterly incomprehensible person. His work has appeared in Wrongdoing Magazine, perhappened, the winnow, The NoSleep Podcast, and others. Fun fact: Rachael and Charlie worked on a previous anthology quite recently! The Midnight Mass Anthology was published on December 12th, 2021, and was inspired by Mike Flanagan's limited horror series "Midnight Mass".
